First held in 2013 and 2014, National Paralympic Day 2015 saw the event go from strength to strength with celebrations happening across the UK.
Last year, events were held in London, Nottingham, Plymouth and Brighton. 20,000 people attended the event at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to watch Paralympic stars compete on the track, on the court and in the pool and to have a go themselves at a variety of sports.
As well as hosting world-class athletics and swimming on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, NPD have people across the country have a chance to meet star athletes, join in the fun and try a whole host of sports for themselves.
We want to see National Paralympic Day continue as an inspiring event for people everywhere to relive the join and wonder of the 2012 Paralympic Games.
